UPDATE from Oregon where we just delivered hot dinner to firefighters working 18 hour days on the front line of the Riverside Fire. Community members are even helping put out hot spots. It’s an incredible effort & we are happy to do our small part bringing meals. #ChefsForOregon

Day 2 update with Chef Tim in Baldwin Co., AL. We're providing hot meals for families staying in the local shelter & to fire stations for people in the community to pick up. Families are cleaning up, there's currently no water, & power may take weeks to come back in areas.

We’ve checked on communities from Mobile to Pensacola! WCK’s Josh @phelps757 is in Baldwin County, Alabama where we just delivered hot meals to the National Guard, Sheriffs & other first responders. We also began serving the evacuee shelter here today.

Delivering 200 hot meals to the Baldwin County Emergency Operations Center in Alabama — pulled BBQ pork, roasted brussels and crispy taters. First responders here have been working non-stop for 36 hours as Hurricane #Sally made landfall in Baldwin. We will be back with dinner!

While the casino housing WCK’s Relief Kitchen went from generator power back to the local electric grid in Lake Charles, our team prepared sandwiches, salads & fresh fruit for lunch! Getting power back is a huge step in the recovery efforts after Hurricane #Laura in Louisiana.

This weekend, WCK’s team met Melyn Earlm & Kurt Jensen who were evacuated from their home in Oregon City last Thursday. While their home remains undamaged, they are hoping for rain & looking forward to returning home. Until then, we’ll be here with hot meals. #ChefsForOregon

QUICK REPORT with WCK's Zomi at Window Rock Airport in Arizona. Our Relief Team along with President Jonathan Nez on the Navajo Nation delivered 3,000 meal kits last week and will ramp up to 5,000 kits this week. Each box contains more than 20lbs of food for a family.
